Sine Nomine choral ensemble is joined by saxophonist Marcus Monteiro in a celebration of the 2012 canonization of Hildegard von Bingen. The program features Hildegard's original compositions in a variety of interpretations, along with polyphonic works celebrating her canonization, and the concert premiere of a Hildegard-based work by Rhode Island composer, Jennifer Charleson.

Join Sine Nomine as it performs music from Renaissance Venice! Tracing the roots of polyphonic choral music from Adrian Willaert's position as maestro di cappella at the Basilica San Marco in Venice, the program will feature an encore performance of Claudio Monteverdi's Mass from 1650.
