A fantastical musical journey that takes the audience from lullabies to sleep, into a dreamlike state, even touching the edge of nightmares before ending on a theme of morning awakening. The repertoire will span centuries, from the very early renaissance straight through to the present day with a world premiere.

The program will feature the premiere of Dust by Kevin Joest.
The work was inspired by an exploration of the possible origins of life, and was composed exclusively for Sine Nomine for this performance.  We are looking forward to working with Joest over the coming months to bring his work to life.

"Dust that sings, dust that loves, dust that dreams."

Other works on the program by Schόtz, Whitacre, Janequin, Di Lasso,
Forrest and others.

L'Amfiparnaso by Orazio Vecchi
May 13 & 15, 2016

A Renaissance madrigal comedy in three acts. In a rare theatrical collaboration, Sine Nomine choral ensemble will be joined by a troupe of actors bringing the well known characters and costuming of commedia dell'arte to life against a 16th century musical backdrop. This special performance is not to be missed!

More exciting details coming soon.
